We hold our past so tight that we don’t realize that past is not the map to future. We introspect, analyze things, establish priorities, having all dat, put our emotional needs above common sense, we want be successful in every venture of our life, however impatience, fearful of the unexpected we are!!

Freedom is what we all have, we just don’t want to take this flight, we always run behind freedom of speech, freedom of freedom of movement ……., freedom of expression……..how many times have we accept our freedom ???? ,,,,,,,,, renowned our freedom, vow for freedom to say YES and not NO.

Paid Holiday Package

Ever wondered why and from where the humor for Indian courts and police started in the bollywood movies ….….well even I don’t know the existence of the same however…here a small little fact

How many days’ vacations do you have in a year ……10, 30, 45…60. That’s it

Well you be surprised to know that Supreme Court of India has 189 days of holiday in a year.

Total number of holidays the Supreme Court has in a year: 189
Total number of working days for the Supreme Court: 176

Besides the fact that there are more holidays than working days, it equates to officers of the court spending over half the year on a hammock. A summer vacation, a diwali vacation and winter vacation and in additions to holidays like holi, …….jayanti…etc

Some global facts
Pakistani courts have 43 days off + Sundays
The American courts have only 10 days off.

More holidays than even a school going kids…..with full pay which makes vacation an icing on sugar.

This is not enough judges can take full paid leaves over and above these holidays. By combining these offs and adding few more absent days, a judge can make for international trips on public expense. Chief Justice of India made at least seven trips abroad in 2007 traveling First Class with his wife with the air fare alone costingover Rs 39 lakh. Hmmmm……. judges may not have much to do and hence can afford such vacations……hold on ….One more fact …we have 30 million court cases pending! Massive number!!

This and many such facts about the Indian system and constitution are hidden from the general JAnta. The Indian judiciary is a vital function in sustaining democracy and promoting accountability. WE as a citizens are oblivious of our judiciary system. The common men sleeps on the railway track when the train schedule is change, trains have been delayed ….then what is impeding to voice for these pending cases. The government has decided their remuneration, their work schedule … it’s high time that this should be amended.
